Your dashboard, the Hub, is your central command for managing all of your lurks. Here’s how you can create, edit, pause, and remove them.

Creating a New Lurk

You can create a new lurk directly from your Hub.

  1. Use the "Deploy a Lurk" form prominently displayed on your dashboard.
  2. Select a platform (currently X/Twitter is available, with more coming soon).
  3. Enter the handle, keyword, or topic you want to monitor.
  4. Click the "Lurk" button. Your new lurk is now active and will begin gathering results.

For more detailed configurations, you can click the "Create a Lurk" button in the side panel to access the full form, where you can add multiple search terms, a description, and set the frequency.

Editing a Lurk

Need to refine your search?

  1. Open the "Your Lurks" panel by clicking the menu icon in the top-left of your Hub.
  2. Hover over the lurk you wish to modify and click the Edit (pencil) icon.
  3. This will take you to the lurk editor, where you can change its name, add or remove search terms, and adjust other settings.

Pausing and Resuming Lurks

If you want to temporarily stop a lurk without deleting it:

  1. Find the lurk in the "Your Lurks" side panel.
  2. Hover over it and click the Pause icon to deactivate it. The lurk will stop gathering new information.
